Britney Spears returns to TV screens

IT seems like JAMIE SPEARS is something of a magician.

Ever since BRITNEY's dad took control of her finances, and effectively her life, the singer has gone from strength to strength.

The dramas of a few months ago now seem but a distant memory.

A testament to how far she's come is Britney's callback to US show How I Met Your Mother, in which she had a cameo as a receptionist called Abby.

After her previous stint earned the show its highest ever ratings, with Britney getting good reviews to boot, the producers decided to give get her back in for another appearance.

Maybe AMY WINEHOUSE's dad MITCH should drop Jamie a line and ask him for some tips...

Britney Spears And Kevin Federline's Kiss!

We told you yesterday how Britney Spears has been spotted with a Kevin Federline look-a-like, but new reports suggest it could have been the real thing!

According to Star magazine, Britney Spears and her ex-husband are experiencing a “rekindled relationship”, with the troubled popstar Spears even kissing Kevin earlier this month.

The smooch occurred on 8 April when Federline visited to Britney Spears home to pick up their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

A “family source” tells Star, “They were discussing the boys and how they're doing when Britney Spears suddenly got in close and kissed Kevin. Britney Spears did it because Britney Spears felt so close to him at that moment."

Kevin reportedly retorted, “Should we be doing this in front of the boys?"

However, Britney Spears told him, “We're their parents, so why not?"

Britney Spears can release video diaries

We've already said that Britney Spears is looking high and low for a reality show deal, but the U.K.'s Mirror says she's already dabbled behind the camera, and she may send it out for all the world to see.

The tabloid says she recorded video diaries over the last six months and dished about her family and friends, including Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline and her rival, Christina Aguilera.

"Britney's video diaries are the talk of the Tinseltown elite," a source said. "Her high-profile friends and exes -- including Justin -- knew what she was up to but assumed she was filming herself as a form of therapy. If she does decide to go public with the footage, it'll be explosive."

Explosive as in great TV? Or as in heartbreaking mental meltdown?

"Although some of it is really sad to watch -- especially the parts where she's close to breakdown -- others are dynamite," the source continues. "Not surprisingly both JT and Kevin Federline are terrified the material will end up all over the net. Or, even worse, Britney will agree to another MTV documentary, and release some of the footage through official channels."

It can't be any worse than Chaotic.

Personal reflection By Paris Hilton

I HAVE decided to write this in a comic vein because of Paris Hilton. I am surprised that Hilton had character. I always thought that Hilton lacked character, integrity, morals, and dignity. Hilton did not become famous the old fashioned way. Hilton did not become successful the old fashioned way either. Hilton is famous and successful because she was able to take being a parasitic person who has poor taste to a whole new level. In the contemporary United States society, (especially in Hollywood), talent does not count as long as there is a rich family willing to sponsor the ups and downs of the freak show and lack of character that is Hilton.

Hilton is not the only star who lacks character. It can be said that almost 90 per cent of Hollywood lacks character, moral fiber, integrity, good taste and dignity. Hilton (just like Nicole Richie, Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, and Jamie Lynn Spears) lack talent, and character. Hilton has even admitted that she had had problems with her sanity with words such as ‘My character is so insane....’ in that voice that makes people wander if she is clueless. Her demeanor and way of dress makes people wander why she so overrated is, because our society has become a mediocre one. It is also the behaviour of Hilton and other Hollywood ‘starlets’ that give the Islamic world propaganda points on the fact that the west (especially Hollywood) is corrupt, and has become a bordello for people like Hilton.

Hilton and her lifestyle is a contrast to the daily life and tribulations of people who are struggling to make ends meet, who have lost their homes (mortgage crisis, and loan crisis), and those who are struggling to find health care without insurance. Hilton could care less about the suffering of the people because she lives in her own plastic world. Hilton reminds me of a song by the Panamanian Salsa singer and politician, Ruben Blades, which stated, “This is a place of plastic people those that are seen in this place. They live a life of luxury and give the ashes to the poor and common people. You can their faces but their heart is not there.”

I could care less about mediocre personalities like Hilton since there are people with personality, dignity, integrity, good taste, and moral fiber who have more important and significant lives than this heiress who does nothing but shop, shop, and utter incoherent babble. The problem of Hilton can be resolved easily; turn off the TV set, do not buy her products, and ignore her.

Rosie O'Donnell Wants To Be New Britney

Rosie O’Donnell wishes to help troubled star Britney Spears by becoming the new celebrity face of mental illness.

The former chat show host, who also claims to suffer bipolar, believes she would be better at handling the illness and constant press intrusion.

Speaking on Good Morning America earlier today, O'Donnell says: "I have been on anti-depressants since Columbine (1999 high school shooting).

"I sort of feel Britney has become the poster child (for mental illness). The kid is very young. She never had a childhood. She never rode a bigwheel.

"Rather than put her face on mental iilness, or Brooke Shields - who had postpartum depression - use me."

This is not the first time Rosie has spoken about the pop wreck. Earlier this year, she compared Britney to Princess Diana.

Britney Spears Wants a Fashion Line & TV Shows

While her sister Jamie-Lynn was celebrating her 17th birthday with a little shopping in Louisiana, big sister Britney Spears was busy checking out the latest trends, as well.

The Gimme More singer visited designer Christian Audigier’s corporate office at the “Ed Hardy” store in Los Angeles.

According to insider reports, Spears was there to check out his new spring collection and to get a few gifts for her little sis. But she also had business plans in mind, as she wants to work on a new line with the high profile designer.

In related news, an executive producer for “How I Met Your Mother” recently confirmed that he’s open to having Britney Spears return for another cameo.

“We always said, ‘You know, if her character pops, we’ll bring her back,’” Carter Bays told The Associated Press on Thursday. “I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode.”

The producers of hit TV show How I Met Your Mother have declared Britney Spears is welcome to return to the programme to follow up her hit cameo role.

The troubled pop star earned critical acclaim for her appearance as a ditzy receptionist in the episode which aired on US TV on Monday 24 March.

Spears also earned the show its highest ever ratings with more than 10 million viewers checking out her guest spot.

And now executive producer Carter Bays insists he would be happy to see the star get involved again.

He says, "We always said, 'You know, if her character pops, we'll bring her back.' I thought she was great. I was very proud of that episode."

His cousin, Tina Robinson, told American magazine Us Weekly: "They probably weren't expecting [the proposal] to be, like, right now, but with her being pregnant, that really pushed it up."

It is not yet know if the teen couple will wed before or after Jamie Lynn delivers.

The teen is looking more like her older sister than ever, and despite being on opposite sides of the country yesterday, they were both wearing matching hair styles.

She also recently revealled she has Britney's latest release on high rotation, saying: "I actually love Britney Spears's new album. I usually work out to her record."
